Get yourself a chair and in the right wind conditions it wont have to be a game camera.  Just don't go stinking up the place too much or it may not come back.

These two "hung" out a lot together (literally!) this fall (brothers perhaps?):

I call this the "seasaw" effect:

Saw a Bobcat on Glendora Mountain Rd last night.  Puts my count up to 5!  As it ran from the car I first thought, "What is a little dog doing up here?", then, "What is a fat house cat doing up here?".....then I noticed the missing tail. ::)

Wow, what are those two Bob? Wild dogs? A cross of husky and coyote? I saw an all black "coyote" once with a few others. Very rate, I think.
Looks cold up there above P-dale!

Those are my neighbors dogs, he calls them hybrid wolves.   They live a mile from me.  They are 2 miles from home when they're at the guzzler.  I don't like the idea of them running around chasing the wildlife, fortunately I only catch a picture of them once a month or so.  I've spoke with the neighbor he says they keep the mountain lions away.   We don't see eye to eye.

had a visitor today....

just snuggled up between this group of trees in the backyard...

felt she was safe and secure...

looked both ways...

even looked us straight in the eyes (camera)...

and felt so comfortable - she layed down and took a nap !

tried to let her sleep, but she had to check us out once or twice...

stayed for about an hour, then just got up and left...(enhanced pic)

Wow, great shots!  I've never seen a bobcat in that detail.  In which part of town were these taken?

Front left paw is injured.  Looks a little drowsy.  All of the bobcats I've seen have been very skittish.  That one might be having a rough winter.

I haven't captured any wildlife on my game camera in some time.  I suspect it's directly related to the guzzler being frozen for the last month.  The ice is a foot thick and the few warm days we had didn't come close to melting it.

These guys probably have something to do with why I'm not seeing much wildlife.
