Quote:  The 145-acre project is designed to respond to hazard fuels and forest health concerns around the Community of Wrightwood, California.

The Boundary Ridge Project proposes to reduce wildland fire risk and improve forest health by removing dead and dying trees, thinning overstocked stands, reducing chaparral/shrubs, and creating fuel breaks. 

Will any wood be available to residents as fire wood??

It is usually $25 per cord for softwood and $35 per cord for hardwood.  You get to cut and haul....
