Wow! Great Pics Everyone!

Like those action images SD, something I need to work on.
Tried getting shots of my dogs catching frisbee, but still haven't mastered it yet.

Anyhoots, just thought I'd share a sunset. The last of the thunderstorms finally departed as the low heads off, made for some nice sunsets.
Couldn't help but watch this one with David Bowie playing in my head..........Golden Years........

Well captured TB, you don't see sunsets like that often.
Also thanks for the compliments.

woke up this morning to rap music and riff raff on my mountain. I'm sick and tired of the trash and crap left behind,, plus it's my property so I called LASD.

When I saw this on my PTZ camera I called them back and warned them the guy in black has a handgun.

I went down the hill and met 6 or 7 of LASD finest.  A few shotguns and AR15's later they rolled up on the riffraff and hauled them off to jail..

Great surveillance photos.
What zoom level does the camera have and was it on max zoom?
Is the property posted?

Yes the property is posted. What I need is a fence. The camera is  a Sony SNC-RX30N/2 with 26x optical zoom.  mounted on top a 50ft tower.  It wasn't at full zoom.  full zoom with the wind blowing is a bit blurring due to wind vibration in the tower.

It's not as web friendly as the canon so I don't give controllable access to web users.  The Sony is setup to pan the horizon during daylight hours.  I'm feeding the video from the Sony into the Canon VB101 camera server to limit viewer time to 30 seconds.  The Sony is more of a security camera then anything.  The Canon VB101 was a great server for giving public access due to limited bandwidth option, programmable PTZ do not view areas, and the ablity to limit viewing time.

I scratched the lens on my canon vc-c4r so although the camera and server are fully functional the lens is ruined.  Someday I'll replace it..

the winds not blowing 117mph... there's a short in the wiring going to the sensor..  so my weather station is off line until tomorrow

Good job!!  :2thumbsup: We all need to curtail this behavior.
My experience from supervising inmates says that they may (probably will) send out their gang banger buddies to seek revenge, so be vigilant for a week or so. These are not nice people.

I thought of the possibility of some type of revenge.. I appreciate the heads up.. I'll keep an eye out, but I'm not going to be afraid of them.

When my employee and friend got shot by 17 year old gang banging punk in a drive by they were afraid to go to court.  I drove them each day and made sure we sat where the punk could see us.  The judge gave the shooter 40 years.  He is sitting in prison as I type...

Scolopendra heros arizonensis (Arizona Centipede)
Scardesis the Hellious out of me....found him in my luggage after a trip to our Arizona property.  I did the "silent scream dork dance" when I found him.

It looks like the railroad overpass won that battle.
