Water question

This morning I turned on my sink and we had some green stuff come out, The shower as well. Not much but it looked like someone turned on the water and then poured alittle comet on the bottom. Rinsed down and then there was no more. We do have a water softener. Havent been in Wrightwood to long so this is new to me. Anyone else ever have something like this happen? Thanks

My guess would be that you are seeing some of the green patina that is on the inside of copper pipes. You probably had some ice in the lines that dislodged some of the green matter that you saw.

I second what bob said. Our old house had copper lines it every once and a while it would spit out the green stuff.
