Good news!  I am glad that this is moving along.

John--is that a Google Earth Image?  How do you get the lines on the image--Photoshop?  I'd love to be able to put an arrow and caption on such images, showing people where I find certain rocks and minerals...

Yes that's a Google Earth captured image. Then I edited in a program called ACDSee but it could be done in most any graphics editing program.

I've also hiked that ridge end to end. Lots of pinons. Lots of gnats in the summer.

Gnat Ridge. That has some kind of ring to it.

I like Swarthout Ridge.

Was Nolena the 1st one to suggest San Andreas Ridge ?
