Smoke Advisory Issued for Victor Valley
Posted Date: 8/8/2013

Smoke and ash from the Sharp wildfire could impact air quality in and around the Victor Valley.   Changing weather and fire conditions will determine which areas of the High Desert are affected.  If you see or smell smoke and/or ash in the air where you are, be cautious and use common sense to protect your family's health.  Everyone - especially people with heart or lung disease, older adults and children - should limit time spent outdoors and avoid exercise when smoke is in the area.

For more information on protecting yourself from the impacts of smoke and particles, click here to read entire Smoke Advisory.

This Advisory will remain in effect as long as conditions warrant.

Per Paul Bauer at Mountain High:

If people need to wait or have RV's they can use the lower lot at Mt High West.

Not at Mt High East as that's the Incident Command Center
