Aw crap! Sorry about that guys.. as you all figured out, I Didn't charge my battery (which is on its last legs anyway). Dropped out before I could finish the net. Double Margaritas for me next time, ok?

Hey Bob, are you part of an active VE team? I think John mentioned you were a VE. I'm a bit of a bind for our class test.

I am/was a VE, for both ARRL and GLAARD (Greater LA...)

But, when I moved here this past summer, I dropped out of the AVARC (Lancaster) Radio club, and let my ARRL membership expire.

So, I Guess that means I'm no longer a VE

Net tonight on 222.12  (100.0)

Might be a few minutes late. Have to do telemetry first.

You could avoid that if you had the proper foil hat.

That's probably the same thing the sheep say about the telemetry  ;)

There will not be a net next week as there is a Fire Safe Council bored meeting in conflict.

Knowing you're involvement, I'm sure you weren't taking a shot at the meetings.  Perhaps you meant board?   ;D

And on top of that it's the planning meeting for the Wildfire Awareness event that's he's a co-chair  ;)

Oh er uh, yes yes, of course, that's what I meant. Board. How could I have missed that?

Just as I suspected, it was not a mistake. Clint really does not enjoy the scintillating conversations at our meetings. :'(

I enjoy the first time we have them. I can tolerate the second time. It's the third time that gets to me.

Are we out of sync on the frequencys? Isn't tonight a 220 night? If not, should I assume 2 weeks from tonight will be the next 2m night?

(I would have PMed you this question, but apparently, I'm "blocked" from sending PMs to you)

Bob,

I don't accept PMs from anyone. It's not you. You are correct, I put us out of sync. But our last net was on 220 and I thought you might like to check in tonight so I restarted us on 2 meters.

Sorry I missed the net last night.. I didn't get home in time. I"ll also be on travel most of March, and part of April.

So what is the net on tomorrow night? I should have the equipment to listen to either one by tomorrow. I don't think I will let Clint play with my new tri-band radio, since he won't let me do telemetry with him. ;)

Net tonight on 222.12 simplex with a CTCSS tone of 100.0

You better be there Bob! And Susan and I are doing Telemetry after the net. You are welcome to join us. We'll pick you up at about 7:30. In fact if you want to buy your chaming wife dinner, we could do Mexico Lindo afterward.
