Not sure why they were here but the keeped circling east Table Mountain road 4N21 in the vicinity of Cardinal Street and Flume Canyon for almost a half hour.

Helicopters in our canyon today
- CHP helicopter circling the village center around 1400L, then took off headed east.
- Multiple SBDCo Fire helicopters headed west over Blue Ridge, at least one trailing an empty Bambi Bucket.

Any ideas?

The CHP helicopter was looking for Honda from what I heard.

The helicopter with the Bambi bucket is traveling between Mtn High and the Sharp Fire area. I'd say they have a snag or two they are working on.

I also just saw on the news a car went over the cliff near Mnt baldy and helicopters were out there 1dead 1 survived..

I saw a helicopter with a bucket hover over a smoldering tree of Spark Fire and dump water on it at about 3:00 pm today. the situation must have acted up.....but has calmed down again as of right now, again a big Thank you for keeping on this! The hard work is appreicated.

Wrightwood Fire Station 14 was dispatched for bottle rockets investigation in the Shirley J & Ash areas at 2304 hours.
Station 14 was unable to find anything other than residents mentioning a helicopter had been in the area.

from the wrightwood facebook page "Just watched a sheriff vehicle chase a newer white suv at really high speeds through town (residential streets) and then 2 more sheriff vehicles came up hwy 2 w/ lights on. And another 2 headed east on 138. Wonder if the guy made it down Lone Pine. . . ."

They are looking AGAIN for Ronnie Dufrene (RD builders) That is what all the nonsense not only today but for the past 3 weeks has been..Sheriffs,parole, Bail bonds etc...
