Driving back into town, there were three deputy cars outside Wrightwood Elementary at about 11:15. Anyone know why?

I heard the helicopter too this morning making one pass.

They were looking for someone in town yesterday because he is bad news. The are pretty determined to catch him because there have been so many problems with him in the past as well. The sherriff said that he would be issued a warrant if they didn't find him now. And from what I understood, it wont be pretty after that.

I have it under good source that they are looking for a well known local on a few charges. One of them being domestic battery. I will PM more info Angelwolf.

RobertW-You are right. The helo backs up units in an active engagement on the ground.

I was actually referring to the "asked and answered" nature of the thread.

3 sheriff cars were here at that same time. They were looking for a "man with a gun."

We saw them up by Blackbird. They said the man had a shaved head.

My daughter heard it also and reported it to the Sheriff. Three cars were up in the wash but found nothing. They were still looking with CHP for quite a while.
