Sheriffs helicopter circling around the area by the school.

Any ideas as to why?

Anyone know why helicopters are flying tonight? Coming home from Stater about 2 hours ago, a Sheriff car with lights flashing bound for WW. Then as I got into town, I had to pull over for him again as he had his lights coming down Apple. Are they related?

SUSCON might mean Suspect Contact
AREACK should mean Area Check

Interesting site. Course I can't decipher the codes for 'type of call.' The Victor Valley area also includes
Pinon Hills and Phelan.. as well as other locales in this area. But, now I know the next time I hear
a helicopter make more than two passes overhead I can go to this site. Thanks, Cheryl o7o

I'm on the west side and it seems to be hovering over the Mt. View are but it seems to have moved somewhere else.

The Sheriff units were driving up and down the streets too. Im sure its not a fire. The last time we looked the helicopter finally had a spot light on.

The story I got was that the Sheriff had a tip on someone and were doing what they could to
find him. Lights off on the Chopper so you had to know it was something a bit different.
I was also told it had to do with the robbery in the parking lot of the Grizzley a couple months back.

Again, this is what I heard.

What I know is that the chopper seemed to be all over town. First the East side then the West Side.
We may have lost a little sleep but glad they are here for us.
