I sent Charter an email last night.
I told them that with all of the customers they have and all of the money they are collecting there should never be an interuption in their service.

Everyone should sent them an email complaining about rain/snow interrupting cable service. They must have a leak some where.

We were on the phone with them for 45 min last night (trying to get a hold of a manager) to complain. I called them again this morning (cable was out again) to complain again. I will call them EVERY SINGLE TIME my cable goes out. I dont care if its 20 times in one day! I want it to be on record how often my cable goes out. I am beyond frustrated!

Good Bye Cable!!! Hello Direct TV!!

I signed up for Direct TV yesterday and we are finally saying goodbye to cable!!

If you leave cable and sign up for Direct TV you will get $10 additional dollars off your bill for 15 months. We are getting a DVR at no charge, and a free portable DVD player after activation.

I can not believe the horrible service we get from cable. The customer service was the worst! We have made appointments for them to come up and check our boxes, stayed home and waited for someone to show up for 3 hrs, and no one arrives, and no one calls to cancel! Unbelievable!

I am so glad to be rid of them once and for all! It cost us $0 dollars to start up with them also! If you have cable you should try switching to a satalite provider and say screw the cable company!!

Yes indeed as it's been horrible for a few weeks.
Service is scheduled tomorrow after waiting since mid-last week.

I will also be discussing all of the non-terminated connections on our street and request they all be fixed or the FCC will be getting 'another' notification from a Ham radio operator

Channel 4 AND channel 2 have been awful on mine. Last week during the firestorms, the only channel that came in clearly was 7. Tried to find the game on Sat. (glad I didn't

), and 2 and 4 were still unwatchable. 7 was clear, but not what I wanted to watch.

I went to DirectTV years ago and have never looked back. They are adding 100HD channels.

My black and white TV's rabbit ears are starting to break apart. I have tried putting some foil wrap around them to hold them together.

Question - if they fix it in your neighborhood, will that fix it all over town? Maybe that's a stupid question, but I don't know enuf about this to know. I watch so little TV that I certainly don't need 100 channels, but it sure would be nice to have at least the 3 major networks be reliable $:-\$ .

Cable guys were out and agreed that the signal was way below acceptable. They had to request a maintenance crew to come out later in the week.

I also discussed channel 4 with the technicians and was told that because they put HD service into Apple Valley it's messed up the normal channel 4 signal for this area. They have no ETA for fixing it.

Everyone that has cable needs to complain or it's not getting fixed anytime soon.

I have been wondering who the cable provider is. We have DirecTV, but I wanted to compare to Cable...
Do you have a number for their Customer Service department. If there is a "recruitment incentive", I would want to make sure you get it.

If you have Direct TV, I strongly suggest to keep it.
Cable TV in Wrightwood is horrible - always has been since the 80's

After nothing but problems with Cable TV in Wrightwood we switched to Dish Network and have never been happier!
