He was laughing at us and had his eyes open but when we took the photo he closed his eyes because of the flash!  He's too cute!

I thought many would enjoy looking at our Mtn. range from another prospective. This is from the western edge of the Palos Verdes Peninsula looking north towards the San Gabriel's with some thunder heads looming:

Well folks, it looks like monsoon season is here early, or maybe it just a fluke, but, we've had this kind of stuff for four days now. Thought I'd share...

Right here, right now...very windy & a lot of thunder!

My beloved Laughlin library...along with my equally beloved cacti & palo verde.

How can something SO BIG, filled with so much water, FLOAT in the SKY?  Clouds have always blown my mind ever since I was 6, the first time I saw one move across the sky.

That's all for now, it's starting to rain again, (a big deal here in the desert) more later if there is lightning!

I hope Wrightwood doesn't mind these postings on his topic...
I'm guessing it's an open topic for "Photo of the Day"...

Crazy lens dude, CRAZY lens!  I fully expect that one of these days, you'll have a detailed pic of the bees' knees!  Right on.
