Thanks Nolena! I looked up bobcats and the National Geographic site as well as defenders.org has some great photos of them. The bobcat fur and ears are beautiful. The sites say bobcats prefer rabbits or hares for dinner - but also sometimes dine on rodents, birds, bats and in winter months adult deer. They usually have one primary den in a rocky or cave area but also have auxiliary dens in wood piles and brushy areas. At one time bobcats were legally protected and I think still are protected so they will not become extinct.
