Hopefully it's not getting old seeing similar videos
Definitely not getting old.

Viewing the video on youtube shows that the video came out vertically compressed, it also should not have bars at the top.  Depending on the editing software you are using, make sure the project format you are starting your editing with matches the format of the video (a 16:9 canvas for 16:9 video from your camera).  Also, it's no longer necessary to shrink videos uploaded to youtube for *the viewer*.  Youtube now detects the viewers download speed and adjusts the bitrate/video quality accordingly....though imbedding the video may not allow this, not sure.  Of course, uploading it will go faster if that's your issue.

I agree, definitely NOT getting old.
It sure appears that the wildlife prefer the new guzzler design over the old one.

I think I will name the hawk Chuck as they both like to drink their own bath water.

So we have Spotted Owls in Angeles National Forest?  Wasn't aware of that.  My son surveys them in Northern California each summer, and has made them the focus of his Wildlife Biology degree.  Will have to let him know this info!

Here's the first night video from the new trail cameras of a young coyote at the guzzler.

That was one thirsty little coyote.  Thanks for posting these clips, they are so fascinating!   :2thumbsup:

I've also greatly enjoyed watching the bear, and "Chuck" the hawk!   ;D

The bear made another guzzler visit at 3:18 am this morning.

Too cute!!    I think he was either looking for the source of the water or looking for spawning salmon.     These are great.

Say wha?  He dug out a rat.  You really have one-stop shopping for bears.  Interesting that he sniffed it out so easily.

Be careful cleaning that thing out.

Check out how much water leaves the guzzler when the bear gets out.

So cool! Glad the bear has found a local spa without invading someone's back yard to do it.  ;)
