We were lucky enough to catch this Hawk taking a bath in our pond yesterday. Pictures are through windows.

This is what someone else said-
likely a juvenile Cooper's Hawk. possibly a juvenile Sharp-Shinned Hawk. Very difficult to distinguish, but the curved tail in the first picture seems to indicate juvenile Cooper's Hawk. it's definitely one of the two.

That bird looks as if it's staring right at you. Is one leg tucked up under its body?

It was staring right at us. I used a 300 mm lens so we were a ways from it protected by walls for sound. It heard us but didn't know whether to fly off.

They come of course each day for water but only by change do we catch them.
