I'm with Stitches on this...  :'(

Also, I totally love the latest hummingbird shot, I have never seen one that colour before. Beautiful!
My two regulars both have the green colouring but enough of a difference to be able to tell them apart.

I love the hummingbird shot too.  His feathers remind me of flower petals and I can only pray that we have winter like that again.  We sooo need it!

Wildman, your winter picture is my new desktop photo!  As much as I don't like driving in the snow, or shoveling it, or dealing with the mess, it is indeed beautiful to look at.

I love how Mocha's ears are down like that... I hope they don't decide to stand up. What ever she was looking at must have been very interesting.

More then likely....a bug of some sort.  Very curious...scent oriented dog.  Sniffs everything and air scents quite a bit.  We'll see what we get when she grows up....Vet said could possibly be a cross between Shepard and Giraffe.

This Yucca was pleasing to look at.

This Lesser Goldfinch is part of the crowd that hangs out at the little seed feeder (with the seeds that cost more then gold) and only in the Winter.  They leave to go to the high country in the spring.

Finally, this is my favorite chicken.  Her name, appropriately enough, is Chicken.
She is a Rhode Island Red and lays an egg a day like clockwork.  Friendliest bird I have ever owned.  She is the sole survivor of the Coyote predation and now has a new flock to hang out with.  Chickens are like having a feathered aquarium.

Thanks.  I'm glad you enjoy them.

Here is one of our yellow Lesser American Goldfinchs.  They are only here in the Fall and leave for the high country in the spring.

Sunset the other night looking towards the West when we had clouds.

This House Finch is waiting it's turn at the feeder.  Obviously not taken this year.

Last night the clouds were coming in as big Lenticulars and making the sky just blaze.  Barely made it before the clouds turned grey.  About the same time as BB's photo from Lytle creek.

Sunrises are always beautiful and add some clouds and they can be spectacular.  This sunrise is from last week and is a "merged" photo.  I took three shots and merged them into one.  I wished I had a wide angle that would do this.
