We are just getting started on digitizing older Mountaineer Newspapers.

Anyone have any old Mountaineers from the 60's or 70's?
We are missing some in the Barbara Van Houten's collection and will need to fill in the gaps

Bound editions will not work for using the copy stand that was specifically built for high resolution digitizing of newspapers, map, photos and other documents.

That's the Clyde ranch apple label.  :2thumbsup: Thank you.  Still working on the Clyde ranch history and history of the family.  Any and all help will be appreciated.  How that ranch survived all the disastrous events is beyond me.  Someone's guardian angel was working overtime.  Thank you.

I believe I read here that "cheese" in this context is describing a kind of favorable rock/mineral/ore.  Though it says the guy is a creamery expert so......I have no idea.

Haha ok so I'm not crazy. It's not dated April 1st, so perhaps a disgruntled newspaper employee pulled a fast one on the editor?    ;D

Ah...remember that opening so well... dad was telling us to keep our distance because a bar was where the old Pharmacy used to be.
