Incident Overview
The Bluecut Fire started today at 10:36 AM in the Cajon Pass near Kenwood Ave. west of Interstate 15. The fire is currently 1,500 acres in heavy fuels.
There is eminent threat to rail traffic and stuctures in the Cajon Pass.
Unknown number of structures are damaged and destroyed.
2 minor injuries to firefighters.

ROAD CLOSURES
As per Cal Trans Highway 138 has been closed from Interstate 15 to Highway 2
As per San Bernardino County Sheriff,
Hwy 38 to Lone Pine Canyon has been closed.

RESPONSIBLE DRONE USE: While drones have not been seen over the Bluecut Fire, fire managers would like to remind the public that hobby drones, or (UAS) unmanned aircraft systems, pose a major safety threat to firefighting pilots and firefighters. When a hobby drone is flown into a fire area, incident commanders have no choice but to suspend air operations and ground aircraft until the drone is removed from the area.
