Yes, it means you pack up now and get your animals safe.  I am surprised by this evac notice. But, I trust our firefighters to know what to do.  Good luck guys. I'll be watching this fire all night long.   cheryl o7o

What is the status of the junction at 138/2 (MT TOP?)

Is there a specific place we should be going?

My buddy in Oak Hills got an evac order too. He's in the hills west of the OH off ramp.

Can I drive to Wrightwood to get my pets? Or will I be prevented from getting to my house? Caltrans doesn't show any closures for Highway 2.

Are there road blocks that will keep you from coming into WW once you have left? I'm sure there will be, just wondering if they are up yet and where.

N4 is the highway that splits from the 2 at Big Pines and passes Jackson Lake. Just a FYI

Watching the live coverage on Channel 7. The fire appears to be in the lower part of Lone Pine Canyon above the lower curve. Along the 138 the fire has burned form the railroad tracks up thru moron rocks and is in the area of Jadestone Pet Lodge and the orchards along that part of the highway.

Wrightwood, our hearts are with you!  Those of us who love Wrightwood, but aren't fortunate enough to live there, are keeping you tucked into our pockets close to our hearts.  We are sending our best wishes and hopes for the firefighters to get this thing under control and a quick, safe return home. Stay safe, everybody!

Channel 7 just said they aren't seeing any aircraft. Have water drops stopped?

One hour ago my wife could not come up 138 to 2 at Ricks Cafe.  She had to turn around a come up N4 (Largo Vista). We are here now and getting ready to leave.

Are they letting us down 2 to 138?

My dear hometown Wrightwood... you are all in my prayers during this time! I pray the town is spared...but most importantly, I pray that all her people remain safe, as for a short time, they head for a place of safety. May God be with you all, and with the fire crews that fight this crappy fire
