The misses and I attended this training yesterday and let me tell it was a day well spent. My wife really enjoyed it as much as I did, which really came as a surprise, because she is not usually into these type of things. Big kudos to Captain Bennett who puts on, a not only informative presentation, but highly entertaining and enjoyable as well. We both learned a lot and also learned that to have common sense during an emergency you need to be well informed on what your best options are, which we learned in this class. You not only learn the right things to do, but also learn not to do the wrong things, that could do more harm in an emergency. I would highly recommend that people take this class when it is offered the next time, which will probably be in January or February. This information really is a must for any resident of our area and especially for parents with young kids at home. Thanks again to Captain Bennett and the members of the Wrightwood Disaster Preparedness Team for volunteering your time to make the citizens of our community much more prepared in an emergency situation.
