Yes Forest I am in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.  That pic is of the Kootenai River which goes thru Montana, Idaho & into Kootenai Lake in Canada.

Great shot Breezymtns.
Thought it looked familiar.
We're darn near neighbors. Priest Lake is one of my favorite places to visit over your way.
Lionshead campground in off season is a dream.

Thanks Breezymtns.

It's great to see the old barns still standing. We use them for driving landmarks. If some of them ever fall down we'll probably get lost.

And sorry FIGHT ON, for some reason my browser isn't loading your picture. I'm sure it's pretty though...Sedona is beautiful country.

I went to FIGHT ON's picture and right click on it.   Then I chose View Image and was able to see a beautiful sky, clouds and mountain.   Just beautiful.    I love Sedona.

Tumblebush, those shots of Sweet Creek Falls are really beautiful.   :2thumbsup:  I've never been there, but it reminds me of a hike I've been on a couple times, in southern Washington, called Falls Creek Falls.  While visiting my sister in Portland, we've driven up the Columbia Gorge to Bridge of the Gods, crossed the river into Washington, and I'm not sure where the trailhead is, but it's a beautiful hike.  Only a couple miles up to the lower falls, the upper one is out of our league, but a very rewarding hike nonetheless.  Maybe you know where it is.  Where is Sweet Creek?  I assume northern Washington?

Thanks ForestGal

Haven't even explored the western half of Washington yet. Some day, maybe.
I'm in the northeastern area darn near into Canada.
Sweet Creek is only a minutes from the main road and is in between Ione and Metaline. It's actually a rest stop. Metaline is where they filmed The Postman.

Thanks. I wish I could take pics like that. My friend who took it used to be a professional photographer. Knows all about filters and stuff! Maybe I can pick up a few pointers and take some shots like this and like Tumblebush and Breezymtns!

Why heck FIGHT ON, Just start taking pictures and see what happens. You might surprise yourself.

I know nothing of filters and stuff, in fact...I've had my camera for almost 5yrs and use Auto Pilot  99% of the time.
The rest of the settings confuse my tumbled mind way too much. ::)
