Southbound at the 138 and Northbound at Sierra.

It does not appear you can get to Rancho right now.

Cal State San Bernardino is now officially closed for the remainder of the day 10/22, due to blowing smoke and high winds.  Scheduled to reopen Tues. 10/23...obviously could change between now and then.

I am scheduled to fly out of OIA at 3:30. I have a family medical situation out of state.

Does anyone think its possible to travel to Ontario via Lytle Creek and side roads?

Don't want to travel but kind need to.

I would not recommend anyone taking that route at this time. Way too risky with a fire in Devore and the high winds.

AB, I agree completely, I wouldn't take that route. I don't know any other way to get to the 215 either or you could go through SB.

If you are really desperate to get out, this may be hard to make on time but you can do it: take the 138 west to the 14, south on the 14 to the south 5 to the 210. Take the 210 to the 15 south and get to Ontario that way; or from the 210 drop south on Archibald to the 10 and from there to the airport.

But be sure to check the status of the 14 first! It will take you through Canyon Country.
