Yes Linkline is another ISP and provides service to Wrightwood in places that Verzion refuses.
What is Linkline? Another ISP?
So John,
I was reading this post of yours from back in January and saw this reference to Linkline. This is news to me. I went to the website and it's a little confusing to me. It lists "Verizon" packages, etc. How does it differ? How did you find out about it? Do you have a static IP? What package do you have?
As you may recall, we've had lot's of problems with Verizon and our Linksys router. It's never been resolved. We're going on 8 months now and no one's been able to fix our issue. I'm at a loss.
I was considering trying a different brand of router, but I'm supposed to use the Linksys for my work (approved by our security dept.)
I also considered a fixed ip address, so as to eliminate the issue of the router hunting for the new address every time Verizon changes it (about 3 times a day). But, the cheapest package that Verizon offers is the business account for ~$90/mo. Linkline shows a T3 static ip for $49.95/mo.
I'm confused, but very interested in this new alternative.......
