Is it still unsafe to go thru Lytle Creek?

In these conditions I would think that using any of the N** road over any of the mountains would be considered dangerous.

No, there is still a fire burning off Glen Helen Road.  These roads need to be available for emergency personnel.

I have rescheduled a flight today for 6am Tuesday.

Not sure how active this sight will be that early, any suggestions on where to get most up to date info at 4-5am?

Please do not double post. Your other posting was answered in road conditions.

The I15 is closed both northbound & southbound in the Cajon pass and is not expected to be open until tomorrow.

Any idea what time tomorrow that it will open, or should I plan on taking a day off from work.  I work in Mira Loma and go down the hill at 5:30am.

Channel 7 just said that Edison told them that 15 will be closed until at least tomorrow.

I just got this from the CT website, says NB only is closed.

15 IS CLOSED TO NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC FROM 2.2 MI NORTH OF FONTANA TO 2.4 MI
SOUTH OF THE JCT OF US 395 (SAN BERNARDINO CO) - DUE TO LOW HANGING POWER
LINES - A DETOUR AVAILABLE

Can anyone confirm SB is open?

Please keep ALL posts limited to information on the fires themselves.

This is not the time to express personal comments that website visitors have to wade through to find important information.

Thanks

I park there at the 15/138 to carpool.
We went around the 210 through La Canada, came up Los Angeles Crest Hwy.
The Northbound 15 at the 138 had traffic going through.  Not a whole lot.  Perhaps people that live in the area?  Not nearly enough for the time of night.  South bound was completely closed off at the 138.

To clear up the confusion about the I15 closure.

San Bernardino County just sent out a county wide page that says the I15 is closed both Northbound and Southbound through the Cajon Pass.
